The Revival Planner: A design story
Have you ever had one of those “aha” moments that turns into a full-on project before you even realize what’s happening? That’s how the Revival Planner was born.
Three years ago, I started putting together a planner, not for the world, but just for me. I wanted something that would help me project-manage my life (yes, I really said that) into something I couldn’t wait to get up and live. And let’s be honest, some mornings need a little extra help in that department.
But what started as my personal experiment evolved into something so much bigger, a resource designed to help anyone, anywhere, who has a vision, a calling, or a dream that’s been whispering “hey, remember me?” in the background of their busy life.
From Paper to Pixels (and a Few Tech Tantrums Along the Way)
The first two versions of the Revival Planner were physical planners, the pages, the binding, the whole thing. But then life (and inflation) said, “Let’s talk.”
As prices rose, I realized I didn’t want to create something that people, including me, would have to stretch just to afford. Dreams should not come with a luxury tax. So I made a decision: this year’s planner would be digital.
Now, if you’re imagining me as some tech-savvy digital guru designing this thing in a futuristic workspace, let me stop you right there. While I can design a beautiful and functional website and create digital designs that tell a story in the best way, my iPad is so old that it gives “vintage” energy. It can’t even update apps anymore. But guess what? I downloaded the Free Notes app, paid $10 for the year (because apparently, dreams require subscriptions now), and got to work. And honestly? It turned out amazing.
I even used emojis instead of stickers, because who has time to keep up with those tiny things anyway? And yes, I uploaded my vision board straight into the planner. Digital life: 1, Paper cuts: 0.
Designed for Dreamers (and Real People with To-Do Lists)
The Revival Planner is for the people who are walking in purpose but also need to remember to buy groceries. It’s for those of us who believe in vision but also love a good checklist.
Each section was intentionally designed to support your whole self:
✨ Annual, monthly, and weekly goals — so you can see your big dreams turn into daily progress.
📝 A daily to-do list — because even dreamers need structure.
💫 Manifestations, habits, and affirmations — your spiritual pep talks for every season.
🏡 Community events & experiences — a place to record the moments that remind you you’re not alone. (Because finding your people is part of the dream.)
And one of my favorite quirks? The planner starts in October. I’ve learned that’s when my soul feels like it’s hitting “refresh.” It’s when I naturally start dreaming again, planning again, and coming back to myself. So the Revival Planner runs from October 2025 to December 2026, because sometimes, you have to listen to your own rhythm instead of the calendar’s.
(If you think that’s strange, tell me in the comments, I promise I can take it!)
The Plot Twist: Accessibility Is Part of the Dream
One of the most powerful lessons in creating this planner was realizing that pivoting doesn’t mean you’ve failed; it means you’re listening.
When I saw the cost of producing the physical planners, I felt disheartened. What’s the point of creating something beautiful if the very people it was made for can’t access it? But going digital reminded me that the dream was never about the product, it was about people.
Now, the Revival Planner can reach anyone, anywhere, with just a download. And that means so much more than pages ever could.
Looking Ahead: The Year of Revival
My hope for 2026 is that it becomes the Year of Revival, not just for me, but for every dreamer who’s been waiting for the right moment to begin again. I want this to be the year where dreams, especially the ones meant to serve others in a positive way, don’t just stay in our journals, but come to life.
Because at Dream Talk Management, we believe in helping people take their dreams beyond the talk, not someday, but right now. We believe you can design your life the same way you design a great event: with intention, beauty, and a dash of humor when things don’t go exactly as planned.
So here’s to the revival of your dreams, your energy, your hope.
And to planners that make it all possible, one page (or tap) at a time.
